This groundbreaking energy project aligns with Cargill’s global commitment to sustainable food processing and the adoption of environmentally friendly, renewable energy solutions for industrial production. By advancing Cargill’s sustainability goals, the project enhances safety while providing a cost-effective, long-term energy solution.

Designed, supplied, and installed by Dutch & Company (Gh) Ltd., the fully automated, digital PV solar system will generate 764MWh of clean electricity annually to support operations at the Tema Factory. Beyond reducing energy costs, this initiative reinforces Ghana’s vision of achieving a 10% renewable energy contribution to the national electricity mix. The solar plant’s output is equivalent to powering nearly 400 homes each year, ensuring a lasting impact on both industry and community sustainability.
